โœ๏ธ Scripture

"For we live by faith, not by sight."
2 Corinthians 5:7 โ€” Read Full Chapter โ†—

โœ๏ธ Devotional

Fear has a way of painting fake futures in our minds. It tells us things will fail before they even begin. It whispers that we are not enough, not ready, not capable. But faith sees differently. Faith does not deny reality, but it refuses to let fear become louder than Godโ€™s promises.

Many times, God will ask you to move before everything makes sense. Noah built an ark before rain existed. Abraham left home without knowing where he was going. Peter stepped onto water without proof that it would hold him. Faith often feels uncomfortable because it requires trust beyond logic.

As teenagers and young adults, itโ€™s easy to become overwhelmed by uncertainty about school, friendships, purpose, relationships, and the future. Everyone seems to have a plan while you may feel lost or pressured to โ€œfigure life out.โ€ But God never asked you to carry tomorrow alone. He simply asks you to trust Him today.

Walking by faith means choosing to believe that God is still writing your story even when the pages look messy. It means believing your failures are not final, your delays are not pointless, and your future is not forgotten. Fear builds cages, but faith opens windows.

Today, donโ€™t let fear decide your next step. Let faith lead instead.

โœ๏ธ Reflection Questions

1

What fear has been affecting my decisions or mindset recently?

2

In what area of my life do I struggle to trust God fully?

3

What would change if I chose faith over fear this week?

โœ๏ธ Prayer

Lord, help me trust You more than my fears. Teach me to walk by faith even when I cannot see what lies ahead. Remind me that You are already in the future Iโ€™m worried about. Amen.
