A Peace That Stays

āœļø Scripture

"You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you."
Isaiah 26:3 — Read Full Chapter ↗

āœļø Devotional

Some moments of peace are temporary—like the relief after finishing exams or resolving a problem. But those moments don’t last forever. Soon, something new comes up and tries to steal your calm again.

God offers a different kind of peace—one that stays. But there’s a key: keeping your mind focused on Him.

What you focus on shapes how you feel. If your mind is constantly filled with worry, fear, or negativity, peace becomes hard to hold onto. But when you intentionally think about God—His promises, His faithfulness, His presence—your heart becomes steady.

This doesn’t happen automatically. It’s a daily choice. But the more you choose to focus on God, the more His peace becomes a constant part of your life, not just a temporary feeling.

1

What do you focus on most during the day?

2

How can you remind yourself of God more often?

3

What does lasting peace look like in your life?

āœļø Prayer

Lord, help me keep my mind on You daily. Teach me to live in Your peace, not just visit it when I need help. Let Your peace stay with me always. Amen.
