✝️ Scripture

"He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm."

✝️ Devotional

Storms don’t send invitations—they just show up. One moment everything is fine, the next moment life feels overwhelming. That’s exactly what happened to the disciples. Waves crashing, wind howling, fear rising—and Jesus was asleep.

It’s easy to wonder, “God, do You even see what I’m going through?” But Jesus wasn’t ignoring the storm. He simply wasn’t threatened by it.

When He woke up, He didn’t panic—He spoke, and everything calmed down. That same Jesus is with you. The storm you’re facing might feel huge, but it’s not bigger than Him.

Sometimes God calms the storm around you. Other times, He calms the storm within you. Either way, His peace reminds you that you are not alone, and you will get through this.
