✝️ Scripture

" If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone."
Romans 12:18 — Read Full Chapter ↗

✝️ Devotional

Conflict is almost unavoidable. Misunderstandings happen, feelings get hurt, and sometimes people just don’t see things your way. In those moments, it’s tempting to defend yourself, argue back, or even get revenge.

But choosing peace requires strength. It means pausing before reacting, thinking before speaking, and sometimes walking away instead of escalating the situation.

This doesn’t mean you ignore problems or let people treat you badly. It means you handle situations with wisdom and self-control. You choose responses that bring calm instead of chaos.

Being a peacemaker doesn’t always feel satisfying in the moment, but it protects your heart. And in the long run, it builds stronger and healthier relationships.

✝️ Reflection Questions

1

Is there a conflict in your life right now?

2

Do you usually escalate or calm situations?

3

What’s one step you can take to promote peace today?

✝️ Prayer

Lord, help me choose peace even when it’s hard. Give me wisdom in my words and actions so I don’t create unnecessary conflict. Amen.
