βοΈ Devotional
Waiting is one of the hardest parts of faith. We live in a world that loves speed: fast replies, fast success, fast answers. But God often works slowly, deeply, and intentionally. Sometimes heaven feels silent, and in those moments it can seem like nothing is happening.
But silence does not mean absence.
A seed underground looks inactive before it breaks through the soil. Yet beneath the surface, roots are forming. Growth is happening where nobody can see it. In the same way, God may be preparing you in hidden seasons before revealing what He promised.
Waiting seasons can shape character, patience, wisdom, and dependence on God. They teach us how to trust Him without constant reassurance. Sometimes the blessing arrives later because God is making sure we are ready to carry it.
Do not compare your timeline with someone elseβs. Some flowers bloom early. Others bloom later and last longer. Your story is not behind schedule.
If God has promised something, trust that He knows the right time for it to unfold.
βοΈ Reflection Questions
What am I currently waiting on God for?
How has waiting affected my relationship with God emotionally or spiritually?
What lessons might God be teaching me during this season of waiting?
βοΈ Prayer
Lord, help me trust You in seasons of waiting. Give me patience when I feel discouraged and remind me that You are still working behind the scenes. Amen.
